or 16's all round :
I was wondering about that.....has anyone actually done that - fitted standard 16's all round?? Main issue I have is that the front wheels look a little puny, so had been pondering whether that was simplest (and cheapest) fix.....
Anyone have any pics?

How badly egged shaped is it? I believe it is actually possible to knock them back into shape if you know how. Who's doing the MOT? Have a word with your local garage and suggest it. Neighbour had the same problem six months ago after he thinks running into a pot hole in the road, which altered the shape of one wheel. His garage just knocked it back into shape in 5 minutes. The wheel is still round and working fine today.
Got the same problem with one of my rears, don't notice it when driving, but it was pointed out when having new tyre fitted. Picking up one from a breakers at the weekend for £150 (inc VAT). All the full sets either on here or ebay seem to go for anything between £300-£500.
My concern is that an egg shaped wheel will probably in the long term damage wheel bearings/diff/suspension bushes etc.

Can't help with the wheel, but didn't you notice? ![]()
To get it through the MOT, why not slap your space saver on?
That way you are okay road legal wise until you get another wheel. Let's face it, no plod is going to notice the wheel if you didn't.
I`m afraid that fitting the space saver is a
it will still fail as all wheels on the same axle must be the same size and fitted with the same size tyres. Best bet just borrow one or two 15/16" wheels for the test, most later 4 stud ford wheels should do the jobGassing Station | Chimaera | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
