Hello, can anyone help?
My Odometer & trip meter has stopped working. The speedo is still working fine.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Hmmm ... they're quite well known for sticking on a "rollover" and releasing after "a few" miles but that's really all I know ... mines an LCD odometer and resets itself to 0 every time you turn off the ignition (also a well known fault due to a backup battery going flat after 12 years or so).

If both have stopped, but not on x9999.9, then it could be either the sensor or the cable.
The sensor is situated just above the diff.
When I bought my car the speedo sensor was faulty and had to be replaced.

Also, if it moves away from the correct spacing from the diff, then it won't register.

If the wiring breaks ditto. The cable comes up from the diff under the triangle behind the seats, runs along the centre console and then up into the dash.
Mine stopped working again when I had a mouse issue in 2012.

...but wouldn't that stop the speedo working too? The OP says it's the odo and trip counters that have stopped doesn't he?
