According to my handbook the way to lock the doors in my 93 Chim is to press the button located on the Interiour Door Release knob!

I looked hard and deep - but no button on my knob (there's a joke there somewhere!!! - But I shan't stoop to that level )

Anyone else have this problem?

Surprisingly I have no problem stooping to ANY level

However, of more importance, I think that there was a good deal of varation between what was happening on the shop floor and the man putting the filofax together.

Usually on a weekly basis..."Oi Bob, we've been putting the door locking button on the dashboard for the last ten weeks - did we tell you?" "Well, that's all very well, Dave, but the only pages I've got left say it's on the button" Tha's all right Bob, no one will read the 'andbook anyway"

Have you located any other buttons that don't (appear to) do anything (yet)?

erm.. on the car! No... think I've found them all unless they're lurking suspicously in some corner.

Been there, done that..........Early Chimaeras did not have "button" to trigger Central Locking.

There was an update many years ago, but no-one holds the bits. So like mine, we cannot "lock" the doors when inside - obviously we can "open" the doors!! If you upgrade/replace the alarm to a remote option, then Bob's your brothers....!!

Nothing like having a unique/original TVR.....

A '94 here but my button works just fine

I always lock the doors when I'm driving alone whatever vehicle I'm in, although if one was to be involved in a serious accident, this would probably be to my detriment in being rescued quickly.
