I had a little treat over Christmas, a good friend of mine turned up in this! It's a 500 and has been off the road for the past 8 ish years - pretty unique colour as well, I've never seen another on the road in this colour (anyone know what it is?).
The car itself was owned by my friends step dad from new and for one reason or another was parked up in his garage 8 years ago with just 14k on the clock. My mate has now purchased the car from him and had it recommissioned. Don't think it needed too much work apart from the obvious brakes / perishable suspension parts etc. Think there were also a few electrical gremlins to resolve before it was ready for the road!
Anyway, a couple of pics.....any yes, that is a Christmas jumper

I was considering a 400 a while back and would still love one in the future! Hoping having a good friend with a Chimaear will be a good opportunity to learn more about them! .....that sound

The tape deck made me chuckle when I saw it I think the right side badge is a former 'Brooklands' of Exeter item (they supplied the car). The one on the left is suffering a bit of paint peel, sure this will be addressed! Edited by rowey200 on Monday 13th January 12:20

Looks the same as mine (pic on proflie) - Described as Firemist Pearl in my handbook, but I have a letter from TVR saying it is Opaque Blue Mica No.2. 
I was told it was a colour produced mainly for the Malaysian market by the chap who resprayed it after paintwork damage.Seems that I too can no longer claim to have a unique colour

Pretty sure the car still has all the original paperwork with it, so I'll have to get my mate to check out what his handbook says! Oh, and I reckon you are safe on the unique colour front, there is a good distance between locations

that looks to be the same interior colours as mine, anthracite grey & wedgewood blue. if it is, please tell him to be carefull with it because ive tried two different trimmers & neither have been able to match the colours. ive not seen another the same colour as mine before. 
Mine also has the same interior colours.I got the opportunity to have a drive of the 500 today so thought it would be rude not to post up a couple more pics. It really is a beauty and due to its minimal use / mileage is in amazing condition. I've been in a couple of Chimaeras over the years and noted that the interiors have not taken the miles very well - this one on the other hand is mint, you won't find a cracked dash here!
I absolutely loved getting behind the wheel soaking up the soundtrack, what a joy! My friend who owns the car has been using it regularly and its been performing well....I've asked for first refusal
