I have tried the racelogic system, works ok and simple to setup. I have replaced it when I went over to motec, the ecu can retard ignition as well as adding fuel cuts, and have a lateral g sensor that is wired to the ecu so it' knows if the car is drifting Works very well and stops wheels spinning up.

Can the Race Logic be added on to an after market ECU or do you have to start again ?

It can be used alongside any ecu as it wires into the fuel injector supplies. It's a complete standalone unit, you do however have to fit wheel speed sensors to wire back to the racelogic unit

£50 grand ???!!! What on his car. I have no idea what's going on here other than Jammy was banned, traction control!!!! I've been loosing my bottle but after hearing that. Ahhhh you guys with too much power now want to control it.
Facebook ,,,,,, I'd have to log in, I'd rather go for a log out, !!

Ok ok traction control for Dragstrips but half the fun is controlling it!
I'm probably off on a tangent, is this for a race car up against other computer controlled machines.

Other than the tech cool of it,why!
Rant over.

Tcs isn't just for strips, try driving a 500hp chimaera and you will see why it works, granted if you fancy driving backwards just turn it off, it has a switch for you medallion wearing chaps smile

Traction control just slows you down on a drag strip. You need to find the mechanical grip. Sticky hot tyres and suspension tweaks.

Now your talking. The thing is if it makes you faster around a track to add controls then as most of us would put pink wheels on if we thought it would add a tenth then surely you'd want it.
So the question would be do I need those extra tenths, is that what matters to me or do I enjoy the controlling of it with my feet and consequences if I don't!
The later answer is why most of us do it,,,for the thrill and personal knowledge it was you the driver that got round not the car!

From a normal road going perspective then the safety implications are so compelling that I'd have to say its all a very good idea.

The only reason why I bought a Tvr was to control the uncontrollable!
I wanted to run out of talent before the car did,
I wanted to fear it
I wanted to sit and think ok boy you better be awake before turning the key to this monster.
I wanted to feel like that every time and it does!
This is a very interesting emotion as it is the exact same feeling I had when getting ready to race of go carting.
Having your guts churn every day isn't a good thing so its weird why we seek it out.

So traction control etc right now with this weather does seem like a bloody good idea!
Each to there own Tvrs are outrageous so if you fancy it do it, its a Tvr all things should be possible.

When I saw Jammy's car 9mths ago with a seized diff it didn't look like a 50k car should..... I wonder when was the last time he actually saw it in the flesh, if the stories are anything to go by it's gone from one place to another as he throws money at it, but upsets most suppliers along the way.

It's a sorry tale, he'll get the car he deserves at the end of it and I hope he's happy with it.
