handbrake and brake light on.......

I would try shorting the connector on the fluid reservoir to see if it is a dodgy switch there first.
You can see the handbrake switch from below (way up in the transmission tunnel). If it has come loose it might cause this.
If you need to get to the handbrake switch it is a nightmare job from above (it may be easier to remove the exhaust and tackle from below).
From above you need to remove the trim on top including all the hidden screws in the access panel on the transmission tunnel. Actually getting to it wasn't too bad, it was getting the switch back that was a pain. I ended up using a bit of thin wire passed through the mounting hole and then looped around the thread on the switch but it took quite a few goes before I got it back in.
