Sounds like fun!

I had a visit from Mr GoatyBill for a chinwag this afternoon but engaged the muscles of two sons and their mates to push the green chim uphill with seized brakes into the garage :DID

I've had a drive of 7TVRs LS griff, truly awesome!

Elaborate Peter, give us some excitement on a dull old Sunday!
How fast
How much torque
Is it manageable
Is it smooth
What's a griff like to drive,
Lol.

No mates round today but the dog always seems to enjoy me playing with the car!

Yep.... The first mini meet of the LS owners club was most agreeable... best of all, I got to have my first proper run out in the Griffsmile

Still got to get a proper feel for the car, before I can push it...... But just getting out on nice cross country A roads, is a real treat...smile

As for Neal and the monster he's putting together.... It's obvious to me that he's quite mad...hehe

Super torquey with enough power to spin up the wheels at any speed or so it seems!
A completely different growl, sharper, harder sound.
A heavier gear change, (a different box).

As for the car itself, really well screwed together as it is all new. It really feels like a proper production car as it was assembled with probably more care then the original.

Still not a chim but "not bad" biglaugh

I'm surprised you found the gear change slightly heavier Peter..... What gearbox??

The reason I say that, is that although its been some time since i sold my old T5 boxed Griff, the one thing thats stuck in my mind is how sweet the change is on the 6060 box in my new Griff.... It's night and day with the T5 which I found had quite a long throw.... The 6060 is a flick of the wrist snick snick between gears... And is something I really like about the car...

As for wheel spin..... Ask Macdebhehe.... I think it was around 80 in 4th, when he started to nervously point out that the road is a bit dodgy here matehehehehe...... Has he always had that nervous laugh??biggrin

Get some hoses that are the right shape made up or bend some alloy instead and have 2 small sections of silicone hose each end. Not knocking a fantastic conversion but I am just drawn to all those clips but hey I guess it works.
