Guys i have asked this Bfore and didn't get a clear answer

Am i goint to have any problem if i remove the immobizer? Does it communicate in any way with the ECU

Please if anyone has experience with this let me know. My other alarm/Remote starting has arrived and i dont want to spend time investicating the immobilizer wires

you can remove it, but would need to electrically bypass it before the engine would run again..
hopefully no-one would reveal that kind of data on a public forum....

rolleyes find and locate the 6-black wires, then cut them all. The first black one then is connected to the 6th, the 2nd to the 5th and so on........simples nerd

Thanks Guys

As far as i know black wires are "earth", and since i am installing a new alarm/remote start i dont think i need to reconnect them... but we will see smile

Alarm/Imobilizer systems commonly use all black wires, so that they are not easily identifiable throughout the car, a quick check with a multi-meter/avo will confirm that these wires are not just earths.

The insurance companies In Cyprus they dont know about these things... :-)

when i tell them it is a TVR they say ... "ah yes i know the car ... Triumph" ....
