Hi there.

I was told today that my nearside break light isn't working :-(

I have a facelift 1999 Model Chim with the new rear light cluster.

I took a look thinking this would be a very simple job, but I can't see how to remove the bulb, as it seems to have a sealed rubber sleeve around it.

I looked in the 2nd Edition Bible, but there's no mention there.

Any ideas chaps / ladies.??

Cheers.

Open up the boot, pull off the velcro covering behind the lights and unscrew the relevant bulb mounting, replace bulb...eezy peezy...

Make sure they're the right bulbs though or you'll end up with all sorts of electrical fun...

There's nothing to unscrew.!!

It's just a metal surround screwed into the body with 3 or 4 screws (screwed in from behind the perspex cover on the outside of the car) and the rubber seal with 3 wires coming out the end.

The rubber seal is kind of bell shaped and totally encapsulates the bulb and wires...........

Make sense.??
