Over on the Events Forum a Track Day @ Snetterton has been arranged - I thought I would bring it to the broader Chim forum as there are still spaces remaining and be great to have more TVR's attending. (weather for the minute looks clear!)

For anyone who has never been to Snetterton it is a fantastic track with LOTS of run off areas - and MSV run a pretty tight operation. If you don't fancy risking putting your car on the track plenty of us will give rides.

Details - http://www.msvtrackdays.com/car-home/event-details...

The following PH's are already confirmed and garages have been secured.

Very good Anthony, shouldn't really understand most of that, not being an equestrian type myself but Daughter has been riding for over 12 years. Always supported her of course but I'm not permitted to get in the saddle even if I wanted to (which I don't !!). Thanks for the thought though laugh

Give it a try Richard. Trust me, a good gallop or canter on a horse is at least a scary as driving a Chim too fast....! You're never quite in control if a horse is involved......and the servo brakes on mine are definitely knackered, as is the power steering.....

Are you coming along to heckle/passenger/mechanic/enjoy the craic Alun? I'd offer you a lift part of the way, but with 4 wheels and tyres on board I could be pushed for space. Hope to see you there all the same.

Chilli I'm obsessed with driving technique you'd be bored stiff by my passion.

What's the point of bullst excuses,

I was going to come along with a mate and one of his hire cars but last wk he took on a new business and can't afford the time.
He's a big Tvr fan, keeps telling me to put my car in his showroom to keep it warm, arrrrhhhh ain't that nice, no way someone might want to buy it!

Anthony, you know me I do love the craic,

Its the sound of the engines up the main straight I like!

I'd like to come just to meet John and Nick and after hearing of their engineering prowess bend there ear on the joys of being the bravest rather than the fastest, lol lol lol. Traction control. I'm joking after reading about the white elephant, my thoughts about Tvr development have moved somewhat. You can do whatever you want with them and if its mind bending quick blowing off the opposition then I ain't complaining about that.

Thanks for the offer Chilli as I'm mad for the six nations too!

Right here's the excuse and you can laugh your freaking heads off as my brother did BUT
I fking fell off my bike last wk ( I'm training you know) its a racer with slicks, it grips pretty good but I took a corner that had an adverse camber sort of half way round and as soon as I realised I was head first into the Tarmac.
I've got a graze on my hip that would keep a Welsh captain out!
I bust my wrist years ago and yes on a bike( motorbike) and its still stiff as buggery.
You'd think Barry Sheene turned up, in my dreams lol.

All I can say is I'm with you all in spirit and someone please film it, even off the pit wall
Anything just so the rest of us can have a feel.

No wonder I never get owt done, later gentlemen of character.

One word me. I love the wet as its so slow! Fact!
As if I'm serious!
Chilli that's dangerous talk.
I know how to win in the wet,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, stay on the track.
Its a totally different animal is the wet and by the looks of the wind I'd be really looking to just get in the flow fk being fast!

Sounds great, with a name like mine I don't need to tell you where my family are from, I spent my summers running down fking steep hills catching sheep!
They taught me well. As a youth England beat Wales, my uncle cried like the world had caved in, the daft welsh bugger,
Funny thing is I now cry at the anthems let alone a loss!

Wales make Rugby enjoyable, England I've always wanted to support them but dull ain't the word!
Oh st what have I started,

I was busy so only watched the first half against France, if England start playing with flair they'll start winning the lot!

Snetterton, shows the depths of the resession and the fact its so early in the year but not many going.

Come on chaps someone with a spare few hundred quid go and experience your Tvr in the environment its happiest in!
You won't regret it.

I drove Qbee's car at Snetterton last year slowly, still overtook a good few on the back straight! Great track and no matter the weather you learn plenty.
Again I can't thank you enough for that Qbee, bd 5.0 l its faster than my 4.6?
He he he he,

Totally different car now Anthony, well sorted.

Alun, I'm largely with you on your 6 Nations comments, but no mention of the Italy game last Saturday !!!! Well, you started it laugh Alright it was still a win I guess.

Also looking forward to any video from this weekends Snetterton fun.

Anthony, surgeon told me horse riding for me was a no no when I was 16 & I listened. Didn't listen quite so hard when he told me not to get on a scramble bike again though wink 4 more spine ops over the last 5 years says I probably should've ! still I wouldn't have had half as much fun smile

Ouch.....!
Guess I am lucky - no serious injuries from any sport/activity. I know as a self-employed person I shouldn't ride a horse, but every time I get out there on his back it's just too much fun. Life's worth a risk I guess if a crash helmet is involved. Just wish I could find the time to try my replacement seats in the car.
