Estoril centre wheel cap bolts?
Discussion
Hi,
These look very much like the securing bolt for the central cap on Estoril wheels at a much cheaper price than Leven or other TVR dealers.
Any comments form anyone that they aren't before I order a set?
Thanks

I bought some of these, 99p for 5:

Not many thieves carry Allen keys either.
Whatever you decide on, don't do them up too tight, tends to fracture the plastic.

I bought some 20mm m8 countersunk allen bolts as well.
Much neater than the standard, although neither can be viewed as a security device. You need some decent locking wheel nuts and even then if someone really wants your alloys they will get them.

Seem to recall a rash of estoril thefts from Griffiths around London a few years ago.

That link doesn't work.
Anyone desperate enough to jack a car up to steal wheels will get past most security devices unless you have a cat 1 alarm that will go off if the car is tilted.
I'd be more worried about kids stealing the centre caps as trophies rather than the whole wheels, a lá VW badges in the 80s thanks to the Beastie Boys.
With second hand sets of Estorils for sale for £700 + I'm not surprised some got stolen. I doubt they sell for that price though. You could get brand new aftermarket alloys with new tyres on for that sort of money.
