So I haved booked in for a mucky weekend in Buxton, and the Chim is the chosen carriage, despite the weather.

Roof has been Renovo'd, 200 ish miles under my belt and no issues, so tool kit in the boot and off we go tonight, will post up some pics if it stays dry enough!

Go for it - given the weather forecast you will certainly find out whether your roof leaks or not.smile

Have a great time.

Agreed, it is awful weather right now but is due to brighten a bit, maybe look around Buxton then drive Snake pass with some lunch at Ladybower resevoir.

Tomorrow supposed to be clear skies, so roof off!

Ladybower is nice, but is a little way from Buxton. However the drive along the Cat & Fiddle run from Buxton to Macclesfield is well worth a run, as is a trip out to Bakewell and Matlock Bath.

We stayed at Moorside Grange Hotel and Health Spa, situated on the edge of the Peak District, I went there before to the Chim fest so thought I would take the misses for a bit of Nooki .

It`s only a drive in to Buxton and great roads .
