Got home yesterday afternoon, straight round the pub to watch rugby and drink beer biggrin

This morning, went to fire beastie up, turned over half a turn and battery was flat frown pushed it out of the garage (my mates garage with no power), and jumped it with other mates motor (he has the garage next door), started first time smile

The trick however was the Andersson connector that Mat Smith installed for me back in January smile No more grovelling around in the passenger footwell biggrin

Just plug in the leads under the bonnet and clip onto mate's battery (parked close coz leads aren't very long)

So, roofs down, just been for a blatt, off now for another one before the England game at half two biggrin

Here's a piccie smile

I'm a few steps closer to the double garage with small house attached, so will be able to keep battery conditioned whilst away smile I've flattened it a few times now, so a new one is on the cards soon as I have some garage power smile I should have bought the cut out thingy that chimpongas has, it's the alarm that's draining it, although I used to be able to leave it for five weeks and it would still fire first turn, this occasion was just under three weeks...

Great day yesterday, managed to get an hour of roof down hooning in before the England Wales game biggrin

I am envious of your drive (mines still in boxes) forgot your car is left idle for periods whistle dont keep expecting to let the alternator charge a discharged battery though or you will cook it frown sounds like your on the problem though biggrin

Thanks Simon, hadn't thought about the load on the alternator..........

Despite a flat battery yesterday, after a 2 hour hoon in the afternoon, she turned over like a mad thing this morning....
