I have a Azure Blue Metallic Chim with paint code P422 9006B. When I bought the car it had a old Halfords Colour Brush with it marked Rover Azure Blue Met. Halfords can't match this anymore so is there somewhere I can buy TVR touch up paint where they may understand the TVR paint codes?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Bill

That looks amazingly like Paris Blue to me. Not doubting what you say, just surprised how many almost identical colours TVR used.
Looks stunning, if I may say so.

I got my Starmist Blue (many other similar blues are available) from my local body shop, who took the TVR codes off the car to get a colour match.

This shop has been highly recommended by a couple of people on here so I saved it for when I need it..

Alternatively, go find your local spray paint manufacturers. They'll come outside, look at your car and mix something up.

Agree on the identical colours. Definitely Azure Blue though. I like the colour but there doesn't seem to be many about!!

I bought a chipex kit a couple of years ago, not got round to using it yet.

There were good reports at the time on here, and IIRC there was a PH or TVRCC discount.

We bought some from here and was the wrong colour, not their fault as wrong code under the bonnet, they found the correct code and we advised a paint shop on the colour coding problems when it went in for a re-spray and they used the chipex code and its a perfect match, really impressed with the service too

Thanks Guys.

I rang Chipex this morning but no one in at present. I've emailed with details of car and paint code so hoping for a positive reply!
