No fuel pump priming
Discussion
Car starts as usual to back out of garage. Gave it a clean ready to go for a spin. Car starts as usual then dies after a couple of seconds.
Car will not start. I have spark. But I am not getting the usual noise of fuel pump priming.
I have checked the fuses for the alarm, immobiliser and fuel pump (12 and 13) they are OK.
I tried swapping the 2 relays around in the footwell for the fuel pump relay.
I seem to hear the usual clicks from relays.
There is fuel in the car.
Anything else to check before I get the cheque book out?
Thanks

Thanks for the quick responses. Can't beat this forum for help.
Normal service is resumed.
My fuel pump connections where very "manky" now cleaned and secure the fuel pump works.
It's not a very thick gauge of wire going to the fuel pump, so probably doesn't take much to cause a voltage drop to the pump.
