Has anyone had need to re trim the area of the dash that houses the heater vents, right next to the screen?

My screen has delaminated so I will do the two jobs together, but wondered if anyone had any advice from doing this before. The reason for me doing this is the leather right by the drivers side has shrunk and shrivelled back, I am considering an interior colour change so this decision matters.

Any latest advice on a good price accurately fitting screen would also be appreciated.

Thanks

John

The best price you will get on a windscreen is to make your insurance company pay.
They should cover more than crack damage, mine do.
It seems it is usually best to acquire the screen from a main TVR parts supplier.
Depending on your insurers you may have to pay and claim back.
Sorry no help on trimming.

I am pretty sure this is the man to speak to regarding your TVR screen glassman.

I had mine replaced about 18 months ago.
It's amazing how the car instantly looks better.
Mine was completely peppered with tiny chips over the years, but nothing big enough to be repaired, and nothing that would cause MOT failure.
