Are the door frames and hood struts anodised?

I know they are aluminium, but are they just polished or anodised?

Found this http://www.i4detailing.co.uk/shop/britemax-metal-t... but it states that the cleaner should not be used on anodised aluminium.

The hood struts are (on my 99 anyway)... but the door frames don't appear to be....

Will be interesting to see if its any better than the autosol which is ok, but still leaves fine scratches because the mild cutting abrasives in it .
