It is 1/2" ~ I think I must have been concentrating on manifold fittings if I typed that, sorry.
Thanks Spend ,I can get the 1/2" one no problem ,just hope it`s right .Got one just hope there is enough space .

After purchasing the correct tee I can not get it to fit ,the ground point on the engine is in the way ! I don`t know how it can fit .
The idea was to remove the oil pressure (warning) switch and screw the Tee piece in ,this would enable me to screw the pressure switch in the end and the pressure sender on the side of the extender .
Then screw the oil temp sensor in the old pressure sender position .
What next ? Just above the oil filter there is a large bung ,I`m wondering if this could be used for oil temp ..
I`m just wondering if it was a big wind up .
Spend explained in great detail how to do it .

Use another point for the earth?
The bung you're on about can certainly take the temp sender. I've told you at least twice now how to do that most easily.
The temp sender is not going in to the Tee ,its going at the bottom replacing the oil pressure sender (it needs to pick the temp up in the oil flow ). The bung you're on about can certainly take the temp sender. I've told you at least twice now how to do that most easily.
The oil pressure switch and sender is going in to the tee.
So that means changing a thick ground cable and two smaller wires .
Where can the ground be moved to ?

The tee is far too long, earth on the switch???? its normally grounded screwing into the block.
If you mean the engine ground as Gary says shift it - its normally on the bottom / outside of the alt bracket anyway (not near where you're working).
ETA:
SPOON ====>>>>> FEED
Thanks I will have to make another large ground cable up and buy some new lugs .. If you mean the engine ground as Gary says shift it - its normally on the bottom / outside of the alt bracket anyway (not near where you're working).

I thought that was the standard engine to chassis ground position . Maybe later cars are different .
Sod it I`m doing it this way .
Anyone know the thread size .
