I going to give the Chimaera the loving it needs

The engine is already done so its going to be paint and interior, what would/ should you get done first the paint or the interior

Interior .... because trimmers will crawl all over your car and make a mess of the paintwork.

Sod all that is your chassis rust free! If that's ok then interior then re spray.

Body off, chassis refurb, send body for paint, then any over spray won't go on your shinny new interior put body back on. Retrim, and cover up paintwork whilst trimming just in case.

What does a body lift ,chassis refurb ,new paint and complete new re trim including upper and lower dash and new roof cost ?

Can it be done for 10k ? if so that would give you a new car .

If your doing some of the work yourself "yes", paying someone not a chance , VAT is a massive chunk of the bill !!!

What would a top notch spray job and full interior cost ? My chassis is very good ..

I am not sure what dave the trimmer charges for a full retrim. Leather is expensive, but you only do it once. S&D l thought would be a good bench mark figure for a full respray?
