Pre Cat Cleaning
Discussion
HI all
Just spent the last 2 days knocking the pre-cats out. What a faff.
As I'm going to be running a clive-f decat y-piece do I need to make sure all the last little bits are cleaned out ? With no main cat there shouldn't be anything for them to block up ? Surely they will just blow out on start up ?
The manifolds are off the car and it isn't nearly ready to be run yet so I can't blow it all out that way. Will also be running the standard silencer if that makes a difference.
I've cleaned out as much as I can but there a couple of really small pieces that I can feel when getting my hand in the manifold, but I don't have the leverage to remove them.
Also filled them with water to check for leaks and nothing so very pleased with that
Can I get away with leaving the last few pieces ?
Edit: Just to be clear, these really are very small, tiny little scraps of cat. Not largish bits al all.
