There's two of them in a box in my garage. I brought them back from a house in France that I sold. Just wondered what they were off as I'm thinking about putting them on Fleabay. They look so nice compared to EFI!

Perhaps a 28/36, as per Fords?

No, don't think they're from a V6..... look like progressive choke, initially only one choke opens (smaller one) then as you give it more welly the other opens.
That style of carb was fitted on all the "GT" versions of the Ford 4 cyl "Kent" engine, Cortina GT, Escort Mexico etc.

Without more details I'd guess there are a "1001" different cars they could be off?

Had a closer look and a little more research. They are 28/36 DCB1. Used on a Simca, Fords and some VW's by the looks of it.

Thanks for the input!

Hi mate, wasn't sure if it was a 28/36 dcd or dgas from memory. They were/are a very good carb when set up right

Cant comment on the 2nd carbs intended application maybe early 60's/70's Ford 4 cyl whistle but the 1st carb has externally removable main jets and pilot jets very useful when tuning back in the day nerd notice the lack of choke flaps for fuel enrichment this was done by that valve attached to its rear sucking fuel directly from the float bowl IIRC
