I'm not sure which club to apply too?
Does a cocc have to be completely original as in the same tyres and disi cap etc.
does a srec have to be over the 300hp barrier ?
I know I'm already a Polisher(wker) cheers chilli. Lol
I know I'm fast my arse, you better believe it, cheers Phazed, lol
But I'd like to be in some club or other, Alun
I'm going to enjoy this.

See you make me laugh all the time.
I put up a thread asking for suggestions for a new handle( name) and that was a selection of what I thought was the funniest.

COCC is for friends of Goaty Bill, where the only thing they have replaced since new is fluids, tyres and lubricants, all to manufacturer's spec . Car lovingly maintained, of course, wouldn't want to imply otherwise.

SREC is for those who do a sensible amount of modifying, perhaps, but not necessarily, adding 10-60 bhp to their cars, whilst retaining the characteristics of the standard car.

MCC is for serious modifiers. Triple plenums, after market ECUs, Forced induction, LS engines etc etc. Membership of this club requires a serious amount of grief to have been endured on the way, getting the bloody thing to run properly. Some smart-arse suggested a 350 bhp minimum for this club, but that would be to ignore a supercharged 4 litre, which shirley belongs in this category.

Alun, mate, you are a SREC (pronounced "Shrek" - I've met you, i should know) member at heart, with a a certain amount of closet COCC (pronounced "James May") included. hehe

Just throw a(nother) couple of grand at it for some more engine bits and you will be in on their terms. Or change your rolling road - if you go see that nice Mr Baldwin at Orwell, just to the west of Cambridge, he will have it showing 420 bhp on his rollers. And you can ogle Rob Huff's racing MGB while you wait.
The 350bhp limit was suggested by some smug git with more than that.
Any car with 60 bhp in excess of what it had when it left Blackpool is MCC material IMHO.

Is there a list of all these abbreviations, I've only just learnt to write man. Erf, swalk, polo.
That's all I know and I remember them from when I happened to pop into school on the odd occasion!
Come on Daz, being a Shrec has some benefits, like accepting you have a small cocc.

Honesty is always the best policy.

Qbee, doubt it but can peter Baldwin do much with my 4.0 with standard ecu, it has act trumpets , Elbow and full decat? Does he just do power runs to check engine health? Was contemplating going all the way to Surrey rolling road to do just that.

He tunes cars with carburettors. I went to see him to get a leak down test.
There's an RR in Norwich, and one south of Kings Lynn
