Frustrating little problem.....

So I set to work on getting on with another job on my chim today, the passenger door is a swine to close, an no matter how I adjusted it, it was still just as bad.
So I've ordered some new door hinge bushes, and expect them to arrive early this week, so decided to strip off the n.s door today.
It's a fiddly job but I got there in the end, the door came off and I got to work on knocking out the top bush.
It came out with a little manipulation, so I set to work on the bottom one, only to discover this......



It appears the door has been over extended in the past and cracked the fibreglass around the hinge bolt, and someone decided that the best course of action was a load of epoxy by the look of it.
So I'll take it in to work tomorrow and get the Bodyshop to see what they think, I wonder if anyone else has had this problem before and how it was solved?
