Did anybody look at this, it was on one of the PH links, mighty impressive and interesting him talking through it afterwards.

One of the other links shows the camera on the journo in the car.

Yep, mightily impressive recovery from buttock-clenching moment.

But, check this out...Just confirms that the older Pork were tricky in over-engine/under-tyred situations...Also - having big mass behind rear axle is just wrong.

Basic driver error as he hadn't considered the extra weight, imagine how bad he'd feel if he had lost it.
Super impressive save though, using his feet and looking up the road was his saving grace.
Bet he's glad he's so good!

I'm feeling uneasy after that.
Imagine the bottle needed to go around and hit that section hard after that!
To be fair he was straight on it afterwards .
Would that car be 4 wheel drive?

Aaaah, he's a lucky lucky boy.
I wonder what his heart rate spiked to! 250 just about!

I'm sure I'd find myself waking up in a cold sweat every now and then wondering if I was still alive after that bugger.

See his hands working, he's obviously an ex rally driver.
See how in those few split seconds he's still over turning each time, maybe it was to get bite on the fronts,
The odd dab of brake and throttle at exactly the right moment was probably what calmed it and saved him.

I suppose you'd actually feel invincible after saving that.

Fantastically funny Shake and bake hahahah

If they had crashed,,,,,,,, would they get out unhurt.
If that's a road car did it have a full cage?
I can't imagine how bad that could be!
Could have lifted up and slapped a building wall allsorts!
You'd be stopping rather fast!!! Ouch.

Probably!
Jackson I've got a mate who's just come back from the TT, first time.
He's in a total state of shock!
Speechless really, he sort of stares and just looks totally shocked, I found it hilarious.
He always thought he'd do ok racing bikes, he now knows the truth.

He drank to much but still, it frightened him half to death, hahahahahah,

It must be something to see a human being being so reckless flying past you like all those riders are doing.
Beyond most peoples sense of reason.

Very cool Peter, 12 times, I'd need counselling.
I've got to go one year. I actually worked there once and arrived the day it all finished, I was there some months and come September I'm awoken at 7am by a "what the fk" moment
The classics had arrived and it was first practice or something, some huge old Norton roaring down the pit straight and I thought an aeroplane was crash landing or what!!!
Sounded more like a Merlin than some old Brit bike, i watched some of the practice that evening, never got the chance to watch the racing but that sound was all I needed to hear to know you need a hairy chest to go anywhere near the place. Respect.

He had ages knowing what's coming, fair play he tried to keep his right ft on the peg for the brake for as long as possible.
Leave it out Peter, I'll have a nervous twitch. Hahahehe

Excellent.
I've had a tank slapper in the Tvr and it was just like when it happens on a bike, very relevant to relate bikes and cars like ours.
