Hi folks, having a problem with drivers window operation.Sometimes it works ,then it doesent.
Suspecting a broken wire I cut into the braided sleeve ,looking for a broken wire Yellow/black orYellow/glue.couldn't
Find apromlem there ,but when I pulled the yellow/black wire out from the door large grommet ,it then worked.
I know there is a couple of connectors at the motor ,I was wondering ,is there a connection inside the door before the motor
Cheers Dave

Jedmate,
If you take off the door card, (tricky - but search on here for best way), then remove membrane, you'll expose wiring to window lift motor.
There is a black connector to the motor IIRC. Situated as it is, in the door void, it does tend to get corroded. Take the opportunity with the mechanism exposed to lubricate rack and window runners.

Had the same prob. Just remove the speaker and there is a connector block behind. Pull apart clean and W.D. sorted.
