Connector in front of nearside door... circuit?

Anyone know what circuit(s) are served by the four pin (I think) Lucar connector just in front of the passenger door aperture behind the carpet? One tail disappears into the bowels of the footwell/dash corner behind the carpet, the other goes into the bodyshell (sill-bound maybe). It's not the gubbins that feeds the door electrics itself but in that general area...
