Hi

Has anyone got four plug extenders they would like to sell me? Originally did away with them in favour of heat socks but finding that tiresome in constantly adjusting the leads away from the manifold so it will be extenders and socks now. I have already got 4 good ones just need four more 5k ohm ones. Thanks.

I don't have any spare but I did order 8 from TVR Power about a month ago and they did have them in stock.

Good luck.

Do the new ones grip better?
Like a numpty I marked mine 1 to 8 and have a couple that like to spin round!
It's already melted a lead and caused a misfire!

My old ones were well past it and 3 broke when I pulled them off yikes

I cat say that these new ones don't spin but they don't spin freely if that makes sense.

Yep, I've been running socks daily now for about a year. I had a look at the HT leads at night and could see arcing around a plug extender. Changed them and no better, then had a lead acring to the fuel rail so binned the lot and used these with the HTs straight onto the plugs. Less joints to worry about and no contact with exhaust or fuel rail.

I quickly learnt that the socks don't like being in contact with the exhaust manifolds. I had one go a bit white due to that but as long as there is some clearance they are fine. Been pleased with them so far.
