Finally got the car on a rolling road and I have to say I'm surprised and very pleased with the results.
We did 10 runs and this was not the best but what the tuner felt was the most representative of the power output.
All I know is that it is bl**dy quick and I haven't had the road to take it above 4500 rpm!!

That might be the best picture I've ever seen. Words fail me, I'm emotional, that is truly awesome.
That's sort of made my day, who the hell did it, it's a work of engineering bliss.
The power,,,,, I'm sorry but fk me!
It's a blast alright
Ok back to earth
What Dif can cope with that. Does it also have a different gearbox.
It's stunning , , , ruddy fantastic eff.

That's how I feel about it too, Sportmotive put it in and did the engineering, the diff is standard and has survived ......so far!!
The gearbox is a TR 6060 six speed with a change like a rifle bolt and it drives like a dream

Sportmotive, I've talked to them, they sound and obviously are a great bunch of guys.
Eff how long have you had her back home.
Have you done many miles yet,
I've got a thousand questions
Is the engine tuned or standard,
Is the clutch heavy.
I'll check your profile!

Will you go on a run way?
Are you going to go on a track to really open her up,,,,,,,,,,,,, for about a second, hahahah.

I'm getting really interested in all this power!

You can't stop there,,,,,, pics
The tyres, errr anything else you can think of.
I'm joking, I do love a good engine.

That torque is completely useless in a Griff/Chim, what nonsense. Why not put a veyron engine in a caterham? Bigger is better!!

Daz I think you'll find the LSA is going into a Chimaera,

I can't speak for the LSA and I agree it may prove to be a challenging drive, but I believe that the LS engine is more reliable and generally a more sophisticated engine than my over egged 500 RV8. Power delivery is progressive through the rev range and its easy to drive if you are paying attention. Both engines have enough power to put your TVR into the scenery if you are too heavy footed. Whether the GM engines put you there faster than the RV8 I think has more to do with the driver than the engine.

Sportmotive will be at the Growl on the 5th of July if you want to see their work and have a good chat in a relaxed environment. They usually have an LS install on show.
