Chim Fuse box layout.

Hi has anyone got the fuse layout to hand..

Backed the chim out of the garage quickly.. left it for a mo. it stopped.

go to start her up and no fuel pump noises.... arghhh


Im hopping its a fuse but in the dark and without a manual it might end up staying there...

i've no idea where the handbook is and my bible is packed for moving!!!!!

Hi Graham, sorry I can't be of help this evening as I'm staying at my parents tonight and don't have the handbook with me. I'll keep an eye on the thread tomorrow and if no-ones stepped in to help before then I'll scan it in and send it to you as soon as I get back. Send me your email so I can send it to you as it can be a bit of a faff to post a pic on here. Like I say, sorry I can't do it sooner but fingers crossed someone else can help. At least if nothing else this reply will bump this to the top

Do you still need it? I could go and have a rummage for my 1997 Chimaera's manual and scan the relevant page if you're desperate.

Assuming all TVR's are the same i.e. no two fuse boxes are laid out the same I've always found it easier to pull the fuses and visually inspect them .
Failing that it could be one of the two metal relays in the loom, ones in the start circuit somewhere, the other is in the run circuit AFAIK, if you have a spare that is.

From the handbook for my '97 P 4.0, fuel pump is fuse 13 (counting in from the left) and it is a 20 amp fuse.

Hi all still stuck. I'll go and pull the 20 amp in fuse 13.. to see how that looks.

hi regarding the problems with the fuse box if you find that fuse 13 has not blown,check fuel pump & ingnition relays,both are in wireing loom and have a red stripe a cross them,also remember that the immobiliser cuts power to the fuel pump.

Have you checked the actual connection between the loom and the fuel pump?
A bad connection there is more than possible
