Thanks to Richard Thorpe at RT Racing, Sheffield for a great job refurbishing my Chimaera chassis. I had researched doing the job myself, but decided to leave it to the professionals when I visited Richard's workshop. He had a production line going and has all the knowledge, not to mention the jigs to make sure of a proper job.
I had all the suspension bushes changed at the same time, its cheaper. Fantastic job, kept me informed and drive home was bliss; the car felt sorted. Thanks Richard.

Before and after:
looking at your car the outriggers were totally rotten !!! . yours is a a 95 model, and the earlier chassis are ment to be better, then the so called busy production years of 97 to 99 l think. So the theory of the earlier cars having better chassis seems untrue. mine is an early 96 and the main rails were rotten through !!!!.

mark.

I doubt the year of manufacture has much relevance any more: the newest cars are now 12 years old, the oldest are 20 years old. How/where they've been used/kept over that time will have had the biggest effect by now.
