Dunce question; will these rocker covers fit?

They don't always fit as I found out with the G33...........

Were all the chims fitted with the purple rocker covers from the factory? Going to get mine done in the winter and I'm keen to keep it original.

Only the 500s have purple. The rest were unpainted, unless it was an option?

The ones on my 400 were looking tired though, so I had them done. Nearly went for blue but decided on red in the end. Contrasts with the silver and I'd already sprayed the oil filler cap red with some plastikote:

Blue looks good....


...but it didn't go very well with my new carbon plenum so swapped to black crinkle finish:

I did mine in engine enamel the other day, the ribs are a bit pitted and could have done with a skim but i'm not that bothered

It certainly needs to be something a bit more subtle than I went for on the s2000:


Focus RS green with gold flecks...paired up with quite a lot of carbon...
