I'm having the diff refurbed on my 98 450 as it's leaking and the additive I tried only worked for a short while, Grantura are doing the refurb but the diff is being removed at a mates garage, anything in particular I should warn him of, I know the exhaust and ARB need to come off for access then disconnect prop and driveshafts, anything else for him to watch out for?

Cheers in advance

Protect the chassis when removing it, as it does its best to remove the powder coating from the chassis on its way out. I wrapped some old leather cloth around the chasssis rails

need to twist it as it comes loose, but will try to take chassis paint with it. Good luck

cheers for the warning on paint removal, typically I've just repainted that area a few months back so guess I'll be getting to know the underside of my care even better......

Clean the crap/dirt out of the cap headed screws securing the drive-shafts too with a pick or small screwdriver wink that way the tool will go home all the way so you can get suitable purchase on them without rounding them out or slipping.
