Anyone have any good experiences with any particular products on these chassis tubes? My regular two-pack stuff doesn't like the radiated heat off the manifolds. Not keen on POR15 'though

Epoxy mastic chassis paint is the stuff you need. It's very good and withstands high temps.

Strangely enough that is what was on there... will give it another go; it will get longer to cure this time!

Hi Mark - mounts have not collapsed although there do need changing... Have reasonable clearance still

lf your worried about flaking from manifold heat l had some heat shields, strips of brass shim with steel tie raps and rapped to chassis. coated rails with high temp paint.

I was told that epoxy mastic needs to be applied to bare metal. It may we worth using standard chassis paint and then using reflective heat shield fabric.
