Yes it all gets to us and what with having had a serious leg problem and subsequent frustrations of not being able to work on the car, I came across this:
Column height of 2020mm means I could get it in my covered area with a lift height of 1500mm means working under is easy and things like brakes etc can be done standing up

Best of Chinese engineering it came in at £1710 delivered via the Garage Equipment Man on Fleabay, in fairness its rated at 3000kg so the Chim is only lightly loading it but its as solid as a rock, really pleased
You sometimes buy things in life which later you wondered why on earth you did not do it sooner!!! this is one of them.

Really pleased with mine.

That's exactly what I said, "how did I manage before"!

You'll love it.

I want one!!!!

I've seen it before but decided instead to sell the house and buy bigger.... Nope, that's not gonna happen, I'll have to check the dimensions again, i have a single garage with a ceiling. Thank you mate, I'm going to check it out again, did they install it?

I installed it, doddle to do, its set at 3100mm outside post to outside post but you could bring that down a bit prob by at least 200mm and it would still work, looked at all sorts but at least with this you can get to the chassis properly and be all clear around the gearbox engine etc

I take it, its single phase ? Can it be plugged into a ring main and if so what kind of amp rating ? Looks like a great addition smile
