Hi,

My outriggers are shot and I have found someone to replace them. After looking at the pictures of the kits available, the welder (metal work artist!) has surmised that he could probably do the outriggers himself - and possibly in stainless - although I would have to read the threads on stainless outriggers, some people mention a corrosion issue if the chasis is still steel..)

Anyway, time on the ramp would be limited and it would only be possible for him to to the outriggers himself if there were drawings around that would allow him to pre-build the outriggers. Do any instructions / engineering drawings exist? If so, it would be much appreciated if someone could direct me to them.

also, does anyone know what POR15 is? It was mentioned in one of the threads.

Cheers

Aidan

Can't you just measure the ones still on the car?

I'd be surprised if every chassis had identical outrigger lengths. A few mm out may be within a tolerance.

POR15 is a paint based on superglue technology. It isn't so good on new shiny metal as it needs a key to adhere but great on blasted surfaces or surface rust:

As I mentioned - time on the ramp will be limited...it would be good if anyone had the complete 'spec' detailed
