Oil pressure light
Discussion
Is the gauge showing oil pressure?, if so then there is pressure!. I would have thought a TVR specialist would say "Daz, Do you know your oil pressure light is on?, We will look into it and check you have oil pressure, but it will cost you £10 more, and if you want us to fix it if there is none, it may be expensive. We will do our best".
Remove the king lead and crank away, if the gauge rises then there is pressure.

Its at a main TVR specialist ,they are refusing to drive it .
I'd not take it there again.. why arn't they telling you what's up with it???... instead wanting you to sort it out?all they have to do is establish if there is pressure and if so, it's the switch... or if not, your engine is goosed

either way.. they should have an interest in fixing it !...

I purchased the oil presure switch from fleabay ..Where can i get a real one from . The oil presure gauge shows normal .
Picking my car up tomorrow with the bran spanking new BTR fitted and bespoke brackets ..
It was an offer i could not refuse . Only worked out £200 more than having the old one refurbished and i still have the old diff .

Has this got anything to do with that extra live feed you added to your rev counter?
No that was just a litte experiment ,with the live feed disconnected from the rev counter and a tempory one straight from the battery the rev counter was steady . I thinks its to do with the poor live feed .
