Do the injectors just pull out haven't tried yet but can't see any clamps holding them down

Dont forget to get a new seal kit once you have taken them out-

As noted above the clips just pull out sideways. Also note that there is a groove in the injector that the clip locates into when replacing so they sit at the correct depth.

Yeah I've got the rail off, it was to get them out of the inlet manifold

They just pull out of the manifold. Can take a bit of a heave though.

Thanks for that they must be pretty stuck,
haven't decided what to do yet just on stripping down, but off old threads i was searching i think the best and most cost effective way is Vectra injectors

Does anyone know if changing the injectors creates the need for an ECU re-map?

Yes it will, unless you're swapping like for like

I thought I had read on a old thread(I think it was chimpaholic (but I could be wrong)) that fuelling was nearly the same between the two.

Dunno. I changed my injectors to Bosch Red Top, but changed the AFM at the same time, and needed a remap.
One thing I do know is that the stock Lucas injectors have a less than ideal spray pattern.
What i am saying is call make sure before committing to an injector choice based purely on price, as the remap could well cost more than the injectors.
