Reprograming key fob?

If you have an existing working fob, you could try the following procedure which has successfully worked for me when one of my fobs has become "unpaired" from my alarm. I don't know whether it will work for a fob that has never been paired to the alarm, though. I should add, the following instructions are for the Meta system:

With your working fob, unlock and lock the car about 8 times in reasonably quick succession, leaving no more than 3 seconds between each lock and unlock. Keep going, and eventually the car will stop responding - it has gone into "pairing" mode. Quickly grab the other fob and press its button within 3 seconds. On my car, the indicators will flash to acknowledge this. I also press the button on my working fob as well. Then wait 3 seconds or so, and the car will unlock itself and it should then be back into its normal operation. If the process has worked then both fobs will now be paired to your alarm.

Just as a precaution it might be worth doing this with the roof off, just in case something goes wrong and you end up locked out.

As I say, I don't know if this will work to pair any fob to your car, but it's easy to try.
