ECU compatability

Hi
Sorry to have to ask, but due to possible ECU problems, I've borrowed a 14CUX ECU from a 1997 Land Rover Discovery V8 to test in my 1993 TVR Chimaera 4.0l. Can I just change these over for testing or do I need to swap anything else at the same time, for example the microchip?

It will run OK with the LandRover chip as a test.
