cheap resto Chim on e bay

I cant do links , but just spotted a cheap Chim for restoration on E bay . looks legit as its from a dealer. ( also on auto trader , web site )

If it's this red one, it has seats but no drivers side footwell carpet, and the spacesaver spare has been dumped on the passenger seat:

Not a massive issue but speedo looks to be stuck. Would make for a great project and it's only about 30 miles away, tempted to have a look!

The Estorils alone are worth £400+ unless they're badly kerbed.

Listed as 29,887 miles, odometer clearly stuck at 29999.

If it starts and you haggle hard, could be under £3k. Chassis condition the clincher of course.

Deposit already taken on it. Is a non runner apparently, needs a new ECU and fuel lines so could have been a bit of a gamble. Shame really as I fancy a project.

Given the wear on the steering wheel , one has to assume the mechanicals have done a lot more than 30k. I suspect you have to assume its a back to basics restoration.

Had a look at it yesterday,looked like the chassis and outriggers had plenty of rust,needed paint on a few panels,carpets doing,on the plus side the wishbones looked good,and the wheels What do you recon the cost would be to sort it,,any guestimates??
