2 Questions: Dashboard & Brakes

I'm running a Chimaera 500 in South Africa and was wanting to know what brake pads the Chim uses - mine is a '98 Malaysian built 500 HC - help anyone?

Also my dashboard top section appears to be coming loose - I know it bolts on from underneath but I'm having big problems locating the nuts/bolts/screws/whatever - some time back a Chim owner posted a great topic with pics regarding dashboard removal procedure but it's so long ago it will take me weeks to page through the message threads - anyone got advice for this?

You could try borrowing a contortionist midget from your local TVR dealer. I believe they come ready greased.

Managed to find all three bolts - the problem was the nut on the horizontal bolt that holds the dash to the front had come off - managed to locate it relatively easy however replacing the damn thing took quite an effort - I am now considering putting a contortionist act together as a second career!

Once again thanks to all BUT I am still none the wiser with regards to the brakes - would appreciate some help on this one too.

Trimming the 2 horizontal studs down to a more suitable length makes removal replacement very easy. You can then get ratchet spanner on the nuts, as well as not having to move the panel so much to release the studs from the lower dash. I also find some mains cable outer sheating screwed over the threads protects the trim.

Brakes are standard Ford items, seem to vary between Sierra/Escort Cosworth 2/4WD/4x4. You will have to pop them out & match them up.
