Coolant Leak..

Went out in my car yesterday with my wife, when all of a sudden she starts to complain about a blue liquid that is dripping on her legs !

Pulled over and found that the passenger foot well / floor was awash with coolant. However could not see where it was coming from. Checked underneath the car and found the stuff dripping onto the road off the bodywork behind the passenger side front wheel.

Anyway as less than a mile from home got back OK.

Typical, just got the car back from a week away at the garage after the alarm packed up and now this, had planned my whole weekend around the car

Anyone got any ideas as to where this leak may be coming from ?

Have you checked the two pipes under the dash board on the passenger side??, just a guess, also not sure where the heater matrix is on them, mine went on another car and that put fluid all over the footwell!!!

Thanks RCA, the pipes were fine. Just taken it to David Battys, he has confirmed that it is the matrix.

How much was the matrix repair on your previous car ?

Not a big believer in coincidence myself, is it possible something was disturbed/damaged while the alarm was getting fixed?

..could be, I'll ask the question...but won't hold my breath !
