Hispec brakes fitted in a 16" rim .

I was going for 300mm discs hoping they would fit inside both 16" and 17" Team dynamics pro race 1.2 .The other set will be fitted at some point

Just measured the inside diameter of the 17" wheel ,it`s 410mm and then it goes even smaller to the front part of the rim .

If i half the the 300mm disc plus 60mm for the caliper it comes to 210mm .This means it wont even fit inside a 17" rim .

Does anyone have 300mm hispec under a 16 pro race team dynamic rim ?

I may have to cancel the order.

I have 4 pot Brembo's with 324mm discs. They fit (Just!) inside a 16 Chimaera rim. I needed to fit a 10mm wheel spacer to clear the calipers.
Mine was the Yellow 4 ltr at the Cadwell track day.
Unless the hispec calipers are much bigger than the Brembo's you shouldn't have a problem with 300mm discs.

I have 180mm then it increases to 193mm from the centre .

The caliper may catch on the angled part where it goes from 180 to 194mm.

Why are you adding 60mm for the caliper? There's no way Hi-Spec billet 4s need that much above the rotor radius

Just spoke to Hans ,he reckons i need 175.5mm ,so its tight . I will need to move the balancing weights .

Should have 4.5mm spare at the tightest point .

Looks like i will be going for the 283 discs ,the 300 discs are touch and go under a 16" Team Dynamic pro race 1.2 .

I don`t want to use spacers .

Mine also has 324mm focus rs conversion with brembos. Fitted under 16"imolas with 5mm spacer and a reposition of balance weights but its close!!
