Anyone had paintwork by Hilton & Moss (Castle Sportscars)

Hi all,
As the title suggests I'm looking for feedback on the quality of paintwork offered by Hilton & Moss (Castle Sportscars) in Bishops Stortford.
I'm looking for honest feedback (positive or negative) on their paint & fiberglass repair work, should you feel your response will contravene PH rules please PM me.

For my two pence worth...
I've known the guys at Hilton for a long time (with several of my cars) and they
have always treated me well.
One of my cars needed a repair and repaint earlier this year when a woman with a
landrover decided she could not park straight, but the quality of the work was
excellent.
Now, I do know of some people who have had issues in the past, but I won't comment
on those as the cases I know of definiately had two sides. However, the vast majority
of the people who have used Hilton have been very pleased with the quality of their
work.
Their time management of repair work does require some active management on your part
to keep them on track, but I would use them for my cars.
They also guarantee their work for life (your ownership of the car).
However, what I would suggest is that you go along, have a look at their facilities,
chat with Andy and see if you can see some samples of their work and make up your
own mind.

I'm getting mixed feedback, positive on PH from one & less than good by PM from others.
If it was up to me (which I guess it is) the car would go to Surface & Design.
They've painted my car before and seem to have one standard.......... Perfection!!
And that's exactly what I expect.
It's just Blackpool is sooo far from me here in Rickmansworth

There is also Salford Service Centre over near MK which is run by Rick who used to be from
TVR Power Bodyshop.
Supposed to have very good equipment and good people, but I have not heard much from
them lately, so cannot say how good or bad they are.

My thoughts exactly, 'Ol Gasbag' benefited from a front end respray at Surface & Design shortly after I'd bought the car five years ago, and their work was flawless.Drive up,stay over to see the lightsvsnd a few beers,train home....perfect!!!!
Two years ago an old guy opened his door into my rear wheel arch in France, again S&D did an amazing job.
A few days ago I was stopped at a red light in Heathrow when some stupid bint drove into the back of me (all be it at very low speed), she tries to hide in her Ford Fiesta so I got out and approached.
She said "Oops I didn't see you, I was looking at my sat nav", talk about an admission of guilt
TBH there were only few cosmetic marks but she seemed to genuinely expect me to say "no harm done" and leave the scene.
No chance!!!!
I had been stopped fully stationary at that light for a good 30 seconds so it really does defy belief when you get bumped from behind, she's going to pay for her stupidity by sorting out Ginger Kid's handy work.

Thanks to everyone who contributed on these pages and especially by personal message, its a very long way from Rickmansworth to Blackpool but I'm left in no doubt its the right choice.
I kind of knew that already, but the PMs just confirmed it, we love our cars and they need very specialist skills to keep their composite bodies in perfect condition. I've seen some horrifically poor repairs to TVRs, in fact at almost every TVR event I attend I find myself shaking my head at shockingly rippled repairs and poor paint work..
I just can't take the risk of shoddy work on my car and that quite simply means no matter the distance, it's Surface & Design for me... end of!
