Still getting problems decided to by pass immobilesr till I can afford new,it has to be the relay in the immobiliser as have tried all other options has anyone got the instructions how to,and pm me them, fed up with the embarrassment of sitting at garages after filling up,and beating my head on the dash beginning to look like elephant man.believe carl the meta man lives in petersfield hope to be able to get him to sort things out when cash available just need a quick fix in the meantime, all help appreciated thanks guys.

Carl has moved to France last I heard.

If you are in that general area, you might try Andy at APM in Passfield.
He was the one that recommended Carl to me some time back, but I am sure he knows the fix too.

Dave did mine, hf solutions is his business name. Very reasonable and will travel to you. He knows meta inside out and spent most of his career training others about the systems.

Goaty Bill is right - Carl used to live just outside Petersfield, now moved to France. He does still come back to the UK and do Meta systems, he is based out of Taylor TVR in Aylesford, Kent.

ChimpOnGas will I believe send you the line by line instructions to bypass the immobiliser if you email him.

What he describes is the hot start problem. But the cause could be the immobiliser relay, worn out starter wiring, etc, but e has asked how to bypass the immobiliser.....

Mines just been done ,I kept the immobiliser in place ,did not even lift the dash top off .

I have a relay tucked away in the engine bay .

I could of done it my self but it might of been a balls up ,Jools made me a nice one up ,all made to measure ,heat shrunk and then sleeved with that heat resistant stuff .

Its in and it works ,I`m over the moon ..

I think he took the live from the the battery cable on the starter and used the old solenoid feed to just switch the relay ,it takes very little to switch the relay so the weak current from the immobiliser wiring is not a problem .Then the juicy thick live kicks the solenoid .I flick the key and off i go !

This is all you need and some connectors ,heat sleeving etc .

Thanks for all the imput by the way not a hot start problem as I have fitted that kit.
