radio interference from engine electrics

Getting some mild interference on radio when engine is on. Just had new HT leads and dist cap and since then i have been getting interference which goes away when engine is off.

I recall from other cars that there is a noise surpressor somewhere, which may have gone do-lally. Anyone know what/where this is?

sorry, no idea about the radio suppression, but in my experience if you get yourself a sports exhaust you'll never need a radio !!

Try looking under bonnet in the dark, if it looks like the Blackpool illuminations this may give you a clue.
