Gents,

Any idea where this comes from?



I've been trying to source an intermittent issue with my central locking. The button on the centre door knob will lock the doors, but not open them. After tracing the wiring I've found that this is the dual relay for open and lock. It's making a half hearted click but the second solenoid will not unlock the doors. I opened it up and manually pressed the unlock solenoid and it worked fine, so I'm guessing the solenoid is a bit toast.

Long and short, what parts bin did they raid for this, and any supplier info?

Before you change that, have you checked and cleaned up the switches in the sills?

You need to search for italamec 358, it's fiat/lancia stuff mainly from the quick search that I did.

Button in the middle doesn't open them. Opening door releases the locks.

Mine has never released from the central button.

As long as the courtesy light door switches are working ~ its a bit Heath Robinson that grounding that term on the box (2 IIRC) unlocks the doors but opening them also has the same effect (irrespective of the light delay BTW).
