Which tyres do I use

A topic and a general discussion by many TVR owners, which tyres to fit to the front of a chimarea. Now the time has come for me to make the decision it has Dunlop 9000 on which I haven't had any issues with but would like to here everyone else's point of view.

Before you're going to shop for new front tyres,

- What tyres do you have on the rear?

- How much life left in the rear tyres, i.e. how long are you going to drive on these with the new front tyres.


The most recent road-biased tyre designs that feature a 205/55/15 W fitment and have characteristics that would be suitable I think are the Bridgestone Potenza RE002 Adrenalin and Uniroyal Rainsport 3(?)...

I have the adrenaline on the front of my 400, great grip.

I have also the Adrenelin all around. Great tyres and nice design. Great grip and steering features.

I have fitted Rainsport 3 to Tamy and I am very impressed. Even held up to temporary trackday duties. Including tomorrow!

Cheers for the reply I have falcons on the rear they are 75% worn but seem to grip well
