Piper cross filter, anyone know where I can get a red one?

My air filter is a right old mess. It's a foam pipercross item. I've looked on the 'net and the piper cross website stocks them.

However, I want a red one I'm sure I've seen one in red but do you think I can find it!!!

I promise I'm not being lazy, someone put me out of my misery!!!

Yes they are red when you have oiled them .

That's because the K&N oil is just good old ATF, I use an olive oil sprayer to re-charge mine



K&N make good filters but the rubber collar on mine split where it meets the TVR metal pipe, so rather than buy a whole new expensive filter from ACT I went to B&Q & bought a selection of cheap gutter joiners which I used to make it better than new

Wash it once a year in a bucket of warm soapy water, dry in the airing cupboard over night, lightly spray with ATF, job done

Treated like that I fully expect the thing to out live me
