Get my car back Friday

After the car was Keyed took it to Ewelme coachworks to be resprayed have changed the colour to Halycon Atlantis and am really looking forward to seeing/driving it on friday
(will try to post pics once I get it)

Well the car was keyed, but I think for a full respray with colour change they charge approx £3500 (Ewelme Coachworks) they have had the car since Dec 14th but closed over christmas so they hav actually taken 2 1/2 weeks

£3500!!! Is'nt that a bit pricey? I know you wan't a good job and all but....

Well its 100 hours at £30 an hour plus materials, one quote I got was over £5000, the local bodyshop wanted £500 to respray a door so dread to think what a full respray would have been

Well I'm sure the invoice in the file for mine (job was done by previous owner) was about £3k, so I wasn't surprised......and I should add that its a gorgeous job - IMHO of course.

So have you picked it up yet Colin?

sure it will look great colin rob- just for info-but a guy near me who specialises in porsche respray /sports cars quoted me 1,500 for the whole car- {near bromley}kent-

No Oggs I am not going to sell it ever!!! spent to much on it.
I went out in it on saturday along the bedford bypass doing ???mph and the front now looks like it has been shotblasted, was absolutely gutted but rang Ewelme today and they are going to respray the bonnet for me at an extremley resonable price so now not so gutted, the respray is excellent quality and so is there customer service would recommend them to anyone

But will he take the doors, bonnet, boot lid all hinges off? will you see any of the old colour?, I can't and have photo's of all the work at different stages very happy with the workmanship its fantastic.
